Bloom and Grow by Karen J.

Hi Everyone

OMGoodness I am so in love with this month’s new release and I am sure you will be as well. It was hard to decide what product to use first!

After staring at everything for a while I decided my jumping off point was the Teal Flowers Cottage rice paper and created a scrapbook layout.

The list of products

Teal Flowers Cottage Rice paper – so GORGEOUS!

Rustic collage stencil -Modelling paste just glides over this stencil

Flower frenzy transparency – so pretty
Wrought iron stamp – awesome background stamp!
Dainty Daisies – another pretty chippy!
To create this one I completed the following:
  • Coated smooth white cardstock with clear gesso
  • To prepare the rice paper I glued it onto white cardstock with gel medium, fussy cut all the pieces and inked the edges

  • Spread modelling paste through the rustic collage stencil diagonally across the page

  • Once the modelling paste was dry it was time for ink sprays, I love how the sprays sit over the modeling paste

  • Added the Wrought Iron stamp to an extra layer

  • Lastly was to put it all together!

I loved developing this layout so much!

Lot’s of layers popped up using craft foam

I hope this provides you with some inspiration.

Happy Creating
