Hi!  Misty here to share some of the projects I’ve been working on this month.  First is an art journal cover I created for one of my nieces friends.  She is attending her first year at a University nearby and she wanted a journal to write and draw in. So this is what I came up with…

I didn’t do anything special to the chipboard on this one.  I just painted with some gesso and/paint.  I did add some gold perfect pearls to add the light inside the lamp though.

Here, I fussy cut the picture and arranged it so that it looked like she had her hands around the lamp post.

Next, I have a simple card…

Products used:

Lots of Love (Hearts)

“love & laughter”

Last but not least I have a journal page…

I glued the chipboard directly over the paper layers and then started covering with gesso and mists.

I created some extra distressing by using the heart stamp…
