When Opportunity Knocks…

Hi! Misty here to share my first Scrap Fx post with you. I’ve created a layout loaded with awesome Scrap FX chippy’s. I’d been drooling over the door since the first time I saw it on the website so I couldn’t wait to use it!
Chipboard list:
For the background I used lots of gesso, DIY mists, and clear gel medium over pvc punchinella.
I embossed the chicken wire in silver and then used walnut distress ink to give it a rusty look.
I painted the banner with copper paint and added some silver embossing around the edges of the flags.
Its been mentioned in some of the other posts, but I want to stress again how durable these chippy’s really are. I tend to be one that layers on the paints, mists, and other mixed media mediums when I create, and that includes my chippy’s. I put them through TONS of abuse and they always stay strong through the process. They truly are the perfect embellishments for any page!
I hope I’ve inspired you to go get your hands on these chippy’s and see what you can do with them!

LOVE! Great texture and color in this piece- I love how you are looking through the door opening too. The texture added by the gel and punchinella is fantastic!
