“Spring” and “Family” By Kristine

by admin

Hi everyone!
I am back with some layouts to share with you ๐Ÿ™‚
Here in Norway spring in the air!
The birds are singing and the days are longer and brighter!
And because I love the spring, I made a spring layout for you ๐Ÿ˜‰

Spring 6

I am totally hooked on the technique I have used on the chipboard on this layout!
I use it all the time, in many different ways.
Its very simple, and I will share it with you ๐Ÿ˜‰
You just need a chipboard piece, some gesso or dabber, and a big brush.
I like to use dabber, so I don’t have to wash the brush ๐Ÿ˜›
What you do is: Take you piece, and the dabber, and just dab it randomly over the chipboard.
Then some part of the piece will be cover in paint, and some not. Creating this texture effect ๐Ÿ˜‰
Easy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

On this layout I have used:

Fuchsia A tutu (2013004)
Flutterby K Moth (2013014)
Chicken Wire (2011186)
Heartfelt Alphabet, Lower case (2007019)
Butterflies mixed (2008157)

family 6
On this layout I have created the background by using ย this butterfly stencil
with modeling paste, colorspray and water.
I wanted the butterfly to blend in like it was a part of the background, and I think I did it ๐Ÿ™‚
On the chipboards I have used the sameย technique that I described above.

On this layout I have used:
Butterfly Stencil (2013024)
Flutterby O Ornate (2013019)
Memories Theme Pack (2009037)

I hope you have found some inspiration here today ๐Ÿ™‚
Thank you for visiting the Scrap FX blog!
And welcome back ๐Ÿ˜‰
