Son…a Fathers Pride

by admin

Hi everyone,

Hope you are surviving this heat wave if it’s near you at the moment….oh my goodness the humidity is a killer! I really don’t cope with the heat very well it knocks me around a fair bit. Only good thing about it is staying inside with the air con on and scrapping 🙂

Well I have some exciting news to share this post…our gorgeous little grandson, Chase Joshua was born on the 21st of November and what an absolute bundle of joy he is. He’s just perfect and stole our hearts the moment we laid eyes on him. I was very lucky to be at the hospital when he was born and snapped some photos of my son with his precious baby boy straight out of Theatre.

Isn’t he just amazing? Words can’t express how proud I was of our boy beaming with pride at his new son. Priceless!!

I’ve used the perfect Scrap FX Wordlet on this project as my title…it’s like this Wordlet was made just for the page 🙂 I painted it with Gesso then inked over it again with white ink.

For a bit of texture behind the photo mat I used the Scrap FX Petal Pattern stencil with some texture paste for added dimension and texture to the page. I also used a sweet chipboard word from this cute pack of three baby words  – Miracle, Baby and Treasure to create the sub-title Hello Baby.

So I now have my first page scrapped of our amazing grandson…stay tuned I’m sure there’ll be lots more:)

Until next time…stay safe

Sharryn xx
