Guest Designer for November – Ann-Marie Lawson

by admin

My name is AnnMarie, I am an Army spouse and Mum to 5 boys. We are currently living in Tully, Queensland. I have only recently got back into scrapbooking and craft as I had a big break to have children, now all but one is at school so I have more time to craft.  I really like altering my chippes with ink, paint, embossing powders and folders, and stamps.  Most of my layouts are vintage as I am trying to scrap my Family tree so I really like to do heritage pages but will give anything a go.

I have used texture paste and allowed to dry before I have embossed with lots of different colour embossing powder. I love the “Lindys Stamp gang” two toned embossing powders.  Some I have used as a single colour and some of have embossed with 2 different colours.  Scrap FX products on this layout are:  100% Boy wordlet and cogs.

For my second layout, Bygone Days, nearly all the pieces again used two toned embossing powders. On the oval frame I used some texture paste and allowed it to dry before I embossed over the top. The clock faces and clock hands were all inked with distress ink.

Scrap FX products used on this layout are:

 Cheers, AnnMarie.
