Family & Little Star – Guest Designer Victoria Freze

by admin

For this layout I chose different chipboard that remind me of the environment where the photo was taken. Wire and wheat was inked, leaves were painted with an acrylic dabber and then stamped  with vintage photo ink. The apple was dyed with ink and watercolor pencils and then covered with glossy accents. For the title I used gesso and two different inks.

I wanted it to be a monochrome layout, so I chose soft paper and used a stencil with espresso ink for the background. The outside part of the star was inked with the same espresso ink and the inner one was left as it is. I joined them together and put a brad in the middle. For the title I used gesso and two inks – blue and brown. It took some time before I got the necessary tint. Now the chipboard looks like it was carved out of stone. The bracket was also inked and then I stamped on it with white stain.
