Don’t leave yourself behind…

Hi Crafters!

My turn up on the blog today with a mish mash of new and old!

I was lucky enough to spend a great weekend camping at a retreat recently with my besty buddy Tanya Froud and we scrapped and journaled til our hearts were full.

The art journal page I am showcasing tonight was created on that retreat and Tanya and I were BLOWN AWAY by the versatility of the circle masks from Scrap FX, we both created with the circle masks and came up with different techniques using different products.

I love using shapes to frame focal points on my projects and the masks are such a great way to achieve that.

I just love the softness of the distress crayons and how they blend so easily on a page and coupled with the masks, just turned out perfectly.

I love the trees collage paper and I thought that it would be great to use them within the circles.

I also used a few feint white lines to created a cross behind my quote for the page.  A great way to draw your eye to the quote or any focal point on your page.
