Hi there!

It’s been a little while between posts but IM BACK!

I recently got to spend some time at retreat and got some time to create with lots of fun products.

For this page I literally started with an idea to try and replicate the bokeh effect using the circle masks in various sizes and blending inks in lots of layers…

I then got a lightbulb chipboard piece and traced it (then put it aside for another project) and filled in the bulb outline with watered down gesso to make it translucent. I them used pencils and crayons to add details, like the shadows and the string lights.

I then used the bumble bee from the collage sheets to finish it off.
