Hi ScrapFX Fans!

Karen with you today. I am starting the new year with a new Journal so I thought getting the cover page was the way to kick things off. This page is all about the layers and different depths of colour.

Here is the list of goodies I used

Circle Magic Rice Paper

Daisy Flower Stencil

Fern Leaf Stamp

Stylish Flower Stamp

Negative Numbers Stamp

I started this one with solid painted background

Fussy cut out some of the circles from the rice paper and glued them around the page and then spayed them with gloss spray ink

To give some dimension and that lumpy bumpy feel I used the Daisy Flower stencil with modelling paste

then added stamping around the page with the Fern leaf and Stylish Flwoer stamps. I used both light and dark inks to give depth to the page.

For the tile I used the Negative Numbers stamp and popped the numbers up on foam.

I don’t feel like a page is completed until I added splatters and  for the final flourish I sprayed over the entire page for gold shimmer spray!
