Hi Everyone!

I have to admit my art has taken a bit of a backseat the last few months.
Buying my first house has been super fun, and busy!
I have been distracted working on projects around the house as well as the garden (jungle).
Currently I have been working on painting my bathroom floor and I am shameless and sharing a picture of it. 🙂

My knees will be happy when it is over! Anyways enough of that, on to my project.

Products used:

Zinnia stamp

Pod Stacks stencil

Chevron Panel stamp

I took a break from my floor painting and worked on a journal spread. I wanted to try out some stencil butter that
I had never used before so I got out my trusty favourite Scrap FX pods stencil!
The butter is super creamy and easy to work with and has a nice little sheen to it. I spread some in a couple different colours
on both sides of my journal. I also added some distress sprays and acrylic paints.
I stamped with the chevron stamp and the zinnia stamp with some distress inks.
I had painted the dreamcatcher my favourite teal blue and stencilled some bits on it as well in a darker teal.
I added that to the page and then that made me think of the song Dreams by Van Halen lol so
I typed up some of the lyrics and added them to the other side.
Add a few metal stars, and wooden bits and ta-da we’ve got a finished spread.
