Trainspotting
by rachiebabe
Hi Girls, I am here with another travel LO, I had so much fun playing with these chippies!
The photo is of my youngest son wearing a hand quilted vest with a train on it, he just loved the vest and wore it all the time. Of course I passed down all my boys clothes and never saw them again except for in photo’s.
The Scrap FX chippies I used on this LO are: Train Set Transport (2007312), Railway Pack (2010196), Railway Station (2012192), Journal Note White (2012191w), Film Strips (2011151), Wordlet: Trainspotting (2011081), cogs (2011007) and honeycomb patchwork (2012129)….Here are some detailed close ups ….
I used the film strip as a Train Track, as you can see under the train.
I used black soot distress marker and StazOn metallic inker (platinum) on the train tracks.
I also used a filmstrip under the wordlet Trainspotting. I used black soot, faded jeans, and fired brick distress markers on the wordlet, then stamped on some StazOn Metallic, then added cogs and bling.
Here is another photo showing the title, honeycomb patchwork, journal note, track and sign from the railway station pack.
Here is a closeup of that “Oh so cute” train!!! I stained two of them with fired brick distress stain and the other with faded jeans, then inked the edges.
I then cut out pieces of paper, inked the edges, and did a bit of stitching then glued them on to the train. Where you see the black I used black soot distress marker, then liquid accents.
I used the Scrap FX cogs under the metal gears to add depth. Then added bling to the train, and a bit of chain where the trains attach “way too fun”!!!
Thank you so much for looking…..Rachelle

beautiful work! I love those cogs on the train and this is just fantastic!
