You Colour My World by Elisa Ablett

by Elisa Ablett

Hi Scrap Matrix Fans,

My turn up on the blog today with my latest inspiration for you, a colourful scrapbooking page featuring one of the new Rice Paper Collage sheets designed by Niamh Baly for Scrap FX and loads more!

I just loved using the colourful collage rice paper as the base of the background and then using a few paints and stencils blended the edges and added extra details and texture to my layout.

The Gothic window stamp and new Celtic Panel are going to be my new go to !!

They are perfect to add interest on my pages and art journal spreads. Easy to stamp and colour and make an impact!

Let’s take a closer look at the layout details –

Don’t be afraid to use your stamps to help extend your photo into your layout, I utilised the feather stamps, using the same paint colours and tucked them under my photo so it looks like the wings are extended.

The Gothic window stamps and Celtic panel were used to go with the angel wings and halo in the photo and also to break up the mass of colour.

For the aqua circles in the layout I painted a strip of cardstock with the paint then stamped over the top with the Circle Weave Stamp, once dry I then cut the circles out to add to my layout.
