Xmas Cards Scrap FX style

by Deb Adams

Hi from Deb,

Today I am sharing two sweet Xmas cards I have created using Scrap FX stamps, stencils & chipboard.

I used a masking technique to gel print these trees on the card front

using Distress Oxide inks in Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio & Lucky Clover.

The stamps I used to give texture on the trees were the Medallion stamp & the Squared stamp

I then masked the trees to colour the background with the Lineage stamp & the Loopy script stamp

The Merry Christmas scramble chipboard piece was perfect for the sentiment.

Star chipboards painted gold were added with Gel medium on the background trees.

Shading, then splatters & hints of Gold finish of this naive style card.

For my next card I used a circle mask created from the Circle stencil to form these Christmas baubles on my card.

The stamps I used for texture on the baubles were the Circles & squares stamp, the Medallion stamp & the Loopy script stamps.

I used the Christmas Word Tree stamp for the sentiment.

I added another gold painted chipboard star above the middle ornament.

Shading, Scribbles & flecks of gold finish off this card.

Hope this inspires you to make your own unique Xmas cards too.

Wishing you all a safe & happy Christmas

Bye for now, Deb
