We Belong Together . . . a Scrapbook Page by Sharon!

by Sharon Fritchman

Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a scrapbook page that I made using fun and fabulous Scrap FX products!

Since it’s December and we are in the middle of winter (in the United States), I decided to scrap a page using photos that I found in an old photo album that belonged to my mom.  The photos are of my mom and her brother skiing.  My mom dated them December, 1948.

Here is my completed page:

For some inspiration, I used this Page Maps sketch:

I started by picking my patterned paper and cutting my trees using a die cut that I had in my stash.  Then I arranged the items on my page without gluing them down:

I used the Tribal foam stamp and heat embossed “snow” using white embossing powder onto my trees:

I also added “snow” to my background using the Cloud and Raindrops stencil and white embossing powder:

I picked out the chipboard pieces that I wanted to use, and heat embossed them with white embossing powder, too:

I picked out a phrase from the Family Transparency that I love for this page and adhered it to a tag:

I also found the word “spirit” on the Antiquities Transparency:

I adhered it to the photo of my mom.  Here’s a close-up of the photo and tag:

I glued everything down after I was happy with the final look:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I wish each and every one of you a very Happy Holiday season!  We hope to see some of your creations on our Facebook page entitled Scrap FX Creative Space!

I will see you again at the end of the month.
