Mixed Media Scrapbook Pages . . . by Sharon!

by Sharon Fritchman

Hi everyone!  I would like to share two new layouts with you today . . .

My first layout is entitled “Together . . . we make a Family.”

When I learned that this month’s theme is “Family” I knew immediately that I wanted to scrap this photo of my husband, daughters, and me, taken last December:

Here is my completed page:

I used the following Scrap FX chipboard pieces, stamp, and transparency to make my layout:

{Together:

Embellished Frame-Large:

Heartbeat Borders:

(I used the bottom border)

Love to Infinity:

Family Word Set:

(I used #circleoflove)

(I heat embossed all of the above chipboard pieces with white embossing powder and embellished them with burgundy glitter.)

Heart Borders Stamps:

(I stamped onto vellum and heat embossed with white embossing powder.)

Family Transparency:

Here are some close-ups:

And for my second page, I wanted to scrap the following family photo, which is very special to me.  We had just rescued/adopted our new Rottweiler-Coonhound mix, 10 month old puppy named Abbey in August.  She is the sweetest dog and we all have fallen in love with her since.  She has made a wonderful addition to our family!

Here is my page:

I used the following Scrap FX chipboard pieces, stamp, transparency, and stencil:

Family Scribble Frame – Large:

Curly Corners:

Family Word Set:

(I used #together, #loveliveshere, and #familylife)

Family Transparency:

Heart Borders Stamps

(I stamped onto vellum and heat embossed with white embossing powder.)

Moroccan Tile Stencil:

(I embellished my background with this stencil and texture paste.)

Here are some close-ups:

As you can see, I used different parts of each set (i.e. the family word set, the heartbeat borders, and the family transparency) to make my pages.  Very cost-effective!

I hope you get a chance to scrap some family photos, especially with the holiday season coming upon us so quickly.  All of us at Scrap FX hope that you share your creations on our facebook page, too!  And to learn more about how to order products, please check out the Scrap FX store.

I will see you again next month.  Thanks so very much for stopping by!
