Smile – Kristine

by admin

This month Scrap FX released a series of stencils! And I love them all!
I like to think of my scrapbook style as playful, chaotic and colorful!
And I really like to make my own backgrounds with stencil, paint and ink.
What I love the most about these new stencils are the good quality and the versatile design.

Smile

On this layout I used the Clouds & Raindrop Stencil (2012169).
I started with a white canvas. Then I just took some paint and covered the hole background with blue raindrops!  <3
When the paint was dry, I sprayed the page with water.
Then I took some ink and sprayed it on the page, and the colors blended together just like I wanted 🙂

For decoration I have used Washi Tape, fabric, a homemade flower,
a label and of course some Scrap FX chipboard goodies!
On this layout I have used:
– Barbed wire strands (2011187)
– Butterflies, mixed (2008157)
– Photography Pack (2012109)

Great adventures

On this layout I have used the Chevron stencil (2012152)!
I really like this pattern! Its so crazy cool!

On this layout I tried out a new technique (new to me at least, LOL).
I used Distress ink pad, in the color spiced marmalade !
I used a ink applicator and just worked my way around the page!
To make the pattern “pop-out” more, I draw the outlines with a black ink pen.

For decoration I used a home made stamp, some buttons, a banner
and the beautiful Field of flowers Silhouette (2012163)

I hope you found some inspiration on how to use stencil on your projects.
Thanks for visiting the Scrap FX blog, and welcome back 🙂

Love Kristine
