Never Stop Dreaming. . . by Sharon!

by Sharon Fritchman

Hi everyone!  I am very, very excited to share my latest layout made with the newest Scrap FX products, which are all about following your dreams and are totally amazing!!!

I knew that I wanted to made a scrapbook page using this photo of my daughter, Katie, when she was 6 years old.  (I know – – – where has the time gone?  She’s 25 years old now!!!)

Here is my completed page:

Instructions . . .

First, I did some background work.  I painted my patterned paper with clear gesso, then added some white gesso for more dimension.

I wanted even more interest, so I used the Art Deco Stencil and some texture paste.

Next, I distressed the edges and adhered it to my background kraft paper along with heart-edged ribbon.  I added some large rick-rack and lace, too.

While the paper was drying, I heat-embossed my chipboard pieces:

Moon Dreamcatcher;

Dreamcatcher Dangles – Feathers:

Never Stop Dreaming Wordlet:

Arrow C Graphic:

I also punched (with my heart punches) and fussy cut the tabs from my Index tab “Life” kit:

I assembled everything on my page, then added some paint splatters.   Here are some close-ups:
