Stencils

This month at Scrap FX the design team will be highlighting how our existing chipboard products can be used as a stencil with great effect. 

And with the release of the new line  of plastic stencils in June we look forward to seeing the DTs amazing creations using these new products as well.

For this layout, the compass and skull and crossbones were misted with a watered down black paint.  The photo was printed on a matte paper so when it was misted the paint did not run. (Mask off areas of the photo that you don’t want the spray to go).  The skull and crossbones chipboard piece was now coloured black and placed in position on the layout too.  Easy! 

Other Scrap FX products used on this layout are:  Ivy Leaves, Itty Bitty Serif Alphabet, Rope Frame  (two joined) and mini Leafy stem (from the hat pack).
