Hi, Misty here to share another birthday page and grungy card.
First we have another layout of my daughter on her first birthday.
This months release has really made me use pics that I probably wouldn’t have ever scrapped. I love this picture because of my daughters awnry look on her face but it looked funny because she was climbing on my husbands lap and it just made for a crummy background. So after getting these awesome instant photo frames I decided it would be a perfect way to get the pic scrapped! Since Liberty was covered in streamers I decided to cut up some smaller pieces and give the picture more of a 3-d effect.
I covered the party hat with a light coat of gesso then added some pink acrylic. After the paint had dried I took some heart punchinella and used it as a stencil and applied some clear gel medium over it and then topped it off with some glitter. The horn went through the same process only intead of hearts I just heavily applied the pink acrylic and gave a striped look to it. For the instant frame I used the back side (without the pattern detail) and coated it with gesso and glitter as well, repeating this same step on the flourish at the bottom.

And next is a grungy card I made…
I covered 3 tags with aluminum tape and embossed the first two and kept the top one smooth so that I could use it as a matte for the Happy Birthday wordlet.
