Back to the 80’s…by Belinda Lowe

by Belinda Lowe

Good Morning Scrap FX Fans,

Belinda here….the new kid on the block sharing my first layout as part of the 2019 DT. One of my favourite things to scrap are double pages……..

For you all today I have also included a brief Step by Step instruction for you to create my craziness if you like.

Please feel free to comment or contact me with any questions about my layout

I have used the following Scrap FX products

Here are the two pages individually

This is the LHS of the page, you can see the title “Old School”, the “Notepad Edge Stamp” and the “Mark Making Vees Stencil”

This is the RHS of the layout where you can see I have used the “Mark Making Vees Stencil and the “Notepad Edge Stamp”

And a little Step by Step for you all –

1.Spray your cardstock randomly with your colour of choice

2. Randomly stamp whatever stamp you desire onto the pages

3. Place 2 strips of co-ordinating patterned paper onto the base of the layout

4. Place the same size strip vertically and central onto the RHS, I used random strips of washing tape to add some vibrant colour

5. Using the Scrap FX Stencil, I mixed some texture paste with some colour and created random ….he he PAC-MANs

6. I them used 8 pictures all different sizes and arranged over both sides of the layout ( if you want to know exact sizes please comment below )

7. Using the same stencil I drew arrows onto the layout in random places

8. I then used the notepad stamp around the border both pages

9. Lastly I coloured the title by spraying it with the same ink I used in the first step and added complimenting colours also

NOTE: I also used complementing flairs to finish off the look

Thanks for taking the time to look, I am excited to be part of the team and I hope you enjoy all my crazy ideas I have to share with you, but before I go i’d love to know what your favourite part of the 80’s was….mine of course is the MUSIC

Till next time
