Hi Everyone
I am back to share with you a couple of projects to go along with the “Birthday” theme for this month on Scrap FX.
The theme suited me well because I have a bunch of pictures from my son’s 2 year birthday, waiting to be put into albums.
I have made one layout and one card

“2nd Birthday”

My son was not to happy about having the birthday crown on,  he could not get it off fast enough! LOL

On this page I have used a lot of stencils, paint and ink.
Some of the stencils are homemade, and some not.
I like to make my own background, and I think it gives the page a more personal style and feeling to it.

I have used one of the Instant photo frames .
I have used Dylusions ink to paint it. I love the chevron pattern! <3

Here I have layered the background with different types of stencils, paint and ink.
To make the circle I have used India Ink. I like the effects it gives to the layout.
Inside the circle I have put a small label . For the title I have used the wordlet Mini 2nd birthday.
At the end I put on some buttons and a butterfly.

“Happy Birthday”

I do not usually make cards, only in periods.
And now it’s has been a  long time since I made a card, so it was a big challenge for me.
But I was quite pleased with the result at the end.

For the title I have used the wordlet Birthday party (I cut of the party part) and the wordlet Birthday – Happy/Birthday/xoxoxo .
The embellishment I have used is Doodad I   and the  The funky flowers buttons.

The girl stamp is hand painted with distress marker.
