All Things Small

by Scarlett Salamone

Hey y’all! Scarlett here today to share some small projects that pack a big punch! First up some tags:

Tags are probably my favorite type of project to work on. They’re quick and easy to make, leave room for play, and make great pick me ups for people.

Tha background of this tag was created by heat embossing the Grids Stamp with metallic embossing powder. I adore how well this technique caught the shimmer spray in the grid sections.

Same background technique only this time the  Radiant Circles stamp was put to use. I scraped off a bit of the powder before heating to give a more grungy effect.

One more using the Triangles Stamp and some gold embossing powder. I colored in some triangle sections using NeoColor crayons.

These were created during some play time with paints and NeoColor crayons. ScrapFX foam stamps take paint remarkably well while still leaving all the detail.

Here you can see a bit of the detail better. The sky was created using a stamp from the Round  & Round set. The grass from the Scallop Borders stamps layered over one another.

My last project is a mini layout. I have an unrelated project I’m going to be starting and thought some mini layouts among it might be kind of fun and keep me going back to work on it. This is a fun way to use pictures I may not ordinarily make a page for.

A close up of the embellishment cluster and some of the background. I’m smitten with the silhouette feathers and need to get some more in my stash!

I hope I’ve inspired you to go small and pack a big punch with your projects.
