A bit of grunge…

by Anguree Jansen Van Rensburg

Good morning dear friends

I can’t believe it but we are already in September. Time flies so quickly when you are having fun.

Today I’d like to share not 1 but 2 projects including a bit of grunge and a touch of pretty.

Houses in a row Stamp

I created this layout testing my geliplate and the beautiful new Scrap FX stamps.

First I created the layout by mixing layers of paint in matching colours. Once this was dry I drizzled over my favourite white paint and waited for it to dry.

I then added a mix of yellow and pink acrylic paint to my craftsheet spreading it with my fingers. I simply stamped the stamp into the paint and stamped it onto my background.  (Make sure you clean the paint from the stamp straight away!)

I then quickly painted my chipbord with acrylic paint and matted my photo. * You will note I cut my chipboard to suit the design of my layout.

Next positioned all my elements on the page and added twine for more texture.

Last but not least I added a couple of words and enamel dots.

I created this layout by stamping and colouring flowers onto watercolour paper. Similar to the first layout I cut some of my chipboard pieces and painted them and chipboard with white acrylic paint.

I hope you liked this post and that you will visit us again soon.

Till next time have fun
