The Wonderful World of Pop-Ups!
by Maggie
Lately I’ve been playing with pop-up mechanisms – it’s lots of fun and is quite a challenge sometimes! Then it occured to me that I could use some wonderful ScrapFX chippies to create the pop-ups. Here is a card using some Prima paper as the background to start with…
I actually used the seaweed stem to create the gnarly looking tree. I cut it into two parts, one to sit in front of the barn and the other to create a wintery forest feel in the back ground. I used a distress stain to colour up the barn - just love this piece. The acorn is from the acorns and leaves set, as is the leaf on the front of the card, which I deliberately left quite plain, as the interest is on the inside!
(mmm, note to self – must remove my daughters chipped nail polish!!)
Thanks for stopping by! Maggie.
