Hello dear friends

How are you all?  Wow I can’t believe in May already, before you know it half of 2017 will be over… However every new month brings a stack of new products for you to play with so quickly grab a cuppa and join me for a quick tutorial.

ATC Fun

Scrap FX Products used:

Steampunk Dangle Corner

Wire Heart SMALL

Aussie Slang Frame

So we all like to play with new stuff, but what about those odds bits and pieces that you have leftover? Or what if the pieces you have are too big for what you want to create? Use it, cut it and save those pieces, I say. Here is how:

I created a mixed media background using Dylusion paints and and stamps from Stampers Anonymous. When this was dry, I simply matted my  2.25″ x 3.25″  patterned panels onto 2.5″ x 3.5″ black card stock. As always, I added additional chipboard in-between the layers to add more texture.  Next I cut up my chipboard pieces. I started with the Steampunk Chipboard and cut it into 4 different pieces so it would fit on my ATC’s. This also helped me to have enough matching pieces for 3 ATC’s.

The next step was to colour them all with my favorite Silver Adirondack Alcohol Mixative Ink. I can’t stop to tell you how easy and awesome this stuff is for chipboard, especially tiny, fragile ones.

Last but not least I simply added a couple of journaling strips, cotton and a few grey toned pearls and it was done.

I hope you enjoyed reading
this and that you would visit us again in the near future. We welcome your support and input so please share your thoughts, ask questions or just let us know what you think.

Till next time, have fun crafting.
