Country Living

by admin

Hi Girls, I have another Farm LO for you.  I took the photo of Afis old barn, the sky & lighting were amazing, the little photo is of Amma with my oldest son,who is now 30 years old. These are the Scrap Fx chippys that I used on this LO: wordlet, Country Living (2011010),Weather Vane (2011225), wire fence (2012075) & the barbed wire frame (2011163)

I did not do a lot with the chippys, as I just wanted them to look rustic. I inked Country Living and the barbed wire frame with rust alcohol ink, then using a paint brush I applied bronze perfect pearls mist and a bit of Staz On Metallic Copper, then inked the edges with black.  For the posts of the fence I first inked them with rust alcohol ink, then I applied rock candy crackle, once dry I painted on perfect pearls glimmer mist and a bit of Staz On metallic copper. For the wire part of the fence I used Staz On metallic. For the rooster on the weather vane I used rust ink, a thick coat of crackle, let dry then I applied the bronze perfect pearls and cooper Staz On. I used liquid pearls on the head of the rooster and once that dried I applied copper Staz On.

Here are some close ups of detail on this LO:

Thank you for having a peek…. Rachelle
