“Boys” by Kristine

by admin

Hi all creative souls out there!

Ready or no, here is a new layout made by me.

This layout I have wanted to show you for a very long time! I just love it and how it turned out at the end!

I hope you like it too :)

I started with a white canvas. I found my favorite colors, blue, pink and purple.

I just played around with it and liked so much that I decided to use it as my background.

I stamped like crazy with my brick wall stamp. And just took some random paper and stapled it on.

Then I put on some papertape and washi!

I cut the oval frame (2012048)  in two, and placed it over my photo.

I think it made the photo “pop-out”, just like i wanted it to :)

Then I put on some random rub-ons here and there.

I took a heart (2012039) and colored it with acrylic dabber.

To create shadows I used wax pastels.

For the title I used a piece from the “boys in black” (2012070) wordlet.

Since I love the craft color, I often don’t paint my chippies!

Sometimes I just ink it a little bit, or stamp some words on it.

This time, I just inked it a bit on the edges.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you found some inspiration :)

Feel free to leave a comment in the comment section, so I can visit your blog and leave some love <3

Have a  joyful day!

Hugs Kristine

  1. OOO!!! This is is fabulous Kristine!! I love how the layout gets cut off at the bottom but continues on top- so funky! The stamping is FANTASTIC! The washi tape details are making me RUN to my scrap room!

  2. THis is what I love about scrapbooking. As much as I admire this style there is no way I could ever achieve this look, no matter how hard I tried! Funny huh! I think the randomness of this layout is excellent – looks totally thrown together but I can just imagine the amount of thought and work that’s gone into this. Very inspiring!

  3. I love this Kristine! An AMAZING DESIGN!!!

this is very sweet, and I really love your design and simplicity of the design, albeit the page itself is not simple…just a really delightful page.
