I have a thing for yellow this month. I've had it almost every layout I've made this month. I created this background with lots of gesso, a little bit of molding paste, and a generous amount of misting.

My favorite Scrap Fx product is definitely the wordlets. There are so many different sentiments and they are all so gorgeous! I'm not very good at titles so these wordlets really make things so much easier for me. I love the fact that I have an entire, lovely, sentiment in one chippy! I misted this wordlet and then outlined it with an ink pen and embossed it in silver. For the hinge (that I've been hoarding for months now), I applied a thin uneven amount of modeling paste and then misted it in black and purple, and topped it off by adding some brads.

I absolutely adore the Scrap Fx frames! On my last 2 layouts I used the more decorative frames, but for this one I used the simple rectangular frame and love the many possibilites with this! I decided to use it in a nontraditional way. So instead of stacking them together I decided to separate them and have them interweave with each other. Since some pan pastels had just arrived in the mail I decided to try them out on the frames, and I love the vibrancy of the color!
