A new month and new products…….
by admin
To note the passing of one of Australia’s notable public days, ANZAC DAY, we have a new lot of goodies to scrap the military and courageous people in our lives.
We also have loads of new titles for those lucky enough to have had holidays at Easter time, they can all be seen here.
I have used the new Kokoda Trail wordlet on this layout, along with the tags, guns and seargeant stripes from the Army Embellihsment pack, along with old favourites, barbed wire strands and chickenwire (medium). The background was made using the circle weave stencil over the top of a sunray mask, with brown and green sprays to emulate camouflage and the jungle in Papua New Guinea.
These mini fighter jets would have been perfect for the Air Show layout below, but I just couldn’t fit another thing in!
I used the Aerial embellishment pack, and some items from the Air Force embellishment pack, as well as some of the divine micro cogs and the six frame filmstrip.
The next layout is for the courage theme.
The beautiful Survivor wordlet, was perfect for this layout, and matches perfectly with the new Hope & Courage wordlet, which would make for an awesome two page layout. I also used the new ribbons, and brave and courage from the new courage theme pack. (Other Scrap FX chipboard is Typewriter and Art Nouveau Frame A Large)
And my final project, an art journal page, was made using leftover bits and pieces on my scrap table, and the AWESOME Doodled Feather!
These foam stamps work beautifully over all the rough stuff to create a perfect image effortlessly! Other Scrap FX chipboard: Cherish (from the scribble sentiments pack) and Family (from the Family Words pack). The background was made with a Gelli Plate using the Squares and Circles stencil and Moroccan Tile stencil.
I hope this has inspired you to scrap the courageous people in your lives………Jill.
